Merry Christmas to everyone and your friends & family! I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Here are some pictures from my holiday celebration with my mother, brother and his family!
Like I said, I'll be blogging a lot this month! Here's another post! The photos from my Thanksgiving photoshoot with my mom were blurry, so my mother and I had another photoshoot for our holiday cards! I really like this new backdrop of mine! Enjoy!
After meeting with my group from my government class, I went out to take more pictures for my photography final. Here's one of my favorites from the shoot!
It's December 3 and I just wanted to say HELLO! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Make sure to smile! Even if you don't have a reason to, smile just to smile! It may sound cheesy, but try it!
This picture was taken on this date two years ago! I'm going to try to blog more this month, so you may get some random stuff like this. Thank you for reading. Enjoy your day!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My mother and I had a cute little dinner together and we hung out by having a photoshoot! Here are some of the pictures from the session!
Today was an optional day in my photography class and I actually utilized my time and took photos for my final. Here's one of my favorites from the day!
My dancers and I had our final rehearsal before the show today and it was so productive! Thank you CJ, Kylee, & Zach! You all are helping me make my dreams come true! Thanks for reading and I hope to see some of you at my performance on Saturday!
On Tuesday, I took senior pictures for Chris and it was a beautiful day for pictures! The weather was amazing! Who would've thought that in November there would be 70 degree weather in Michigan? I wasn't complaining though! I met up with a friend for lunch and I had a wonderful afternoon! Enjoy!
The weather was beautiful today for the wedding I took pictures at! My friend Amber; 87 Orange Photography, is the photographer I second-shot for. I hope that some of you like these!
This girl has great presence and a powerful voice!
I wanna get back, to the old days, When the phone would ring, And I knew it was you. I wanna talk back, And get yelled at Fight for nothing, like we used to. Oh hold/kiss* me, like you mean it, Like you miss me, Cause I know that you do. I wanna get back, Get back, With you.
I've been organizing a performance for my performance and trying to find dancers and yesterday was our first rehearsal! It went very well! All of the dancers seem very nice and I appreciate them all for coming out to help me live my dream of performing my music! I will keep you posted on more details as they come!
Yesterday morning I headed over to my brother's house, where I've been arranged to take their family portrait. My niece and nephew needed updated pictures as well & I gladly took their pictures! They are so adorable! I hope some of you enjoy them!
You're probably listening to the song right now, because it's the first song that plays on the blog right now! As you may already see, it's titled "Stop Looking At Me." Don't be too quick to judge the true meaning of this song just by the title. Make sure you take a LISTEN to find the true meaning and hear my new song! I hope you guys like it! Let me know what you think!
All day today was dedicated to my dear friend from work, Larissa! The day started with lunch at the Olive Garden, where I met her wonderful mother. The pictures were taken at a park in Grandville, we shot in downtown Grand Rapids, and the beach in Holland! We spent the entire day taking pictures and it went very well! Here are a few of her pictures!
As you may hear, the first song playing when the page loads is one of my new songs I've recently recorded! It's not the final edit, but it's pretty close to the final thing, so I hope some of you enjoy it!
Blueberry picking... not bad! I mainly went as the photographer, but it was fun being there with my brother's family and my niece and nephew! They are the cutest things ever! I was doing what I do best and just snapping away and I took over 200 shots! Granted, most of them are just candid shots, but I was able to get the family together twice for family pictures! Here's one of the shots!
Starting Sunday and ending Tuesday was an amazing camping journey for me and two of my friends! We went up with my friend Brandon's father, Ed, to Silver Lake where his father had reserved a wonderful cabin at Timberlake Resorts! The first day was filled with beverages, laughter and amazing food cooked by Ed!
The following day, Ed treated the three of us to EVERYTHING! Time was spent at the beach getting some color, then we rode the dune buggies (which was fun!) After visiting a lighthouse, we ventured off to Pentwater where we had appetizers outdoor at a local restaurant and picked up some groceries at the local market. Ed had made us a delicous meal of fresh fish and butter-spiced zucchini accompanied with rosemary bread... YUM! The last day was spent mostly in Ludington, where we laid on the beautiful beach there, climbed the mini-dunes and tasted the local Burger King. Overall, it was a very relaxing & fun trip!
On Tuesday, before going to Sweet Connections (an amazing ice cream shop in Grand Rapids, on Wealthy St.) my friend and I stopped by an awesome pink wall I've been eyeing for a while to take some pictures! I was able to capture the concept that's been in my mind for a long time! Here's a picture of my friend Brandon.
After some ice cream and treats, we decided to take pictures; because that's what we do! We then decided to take our adventure to downtown GR. For a while now, I've been wanting to create an HDR image... downtown Grand Rapids specifically; and I finally did it! I tried once before this but the image didn't fit my standards; so I'll still call this my first HDR image! I hope you guys like it!
This performance received a standing ovation from the judges & audience, the audience chanting their group name, and a great review from the judges and Missy Elliott herself!
I love my mom so much! Point. Blank. Period. She works so hard everyday to support me and make me happy and it's so hard to show my appreciation for her. She works 12 harsh hours every day at a factory with no air conditioning and never has time off. Amazingly, she had three days off, including today. I took her and my aunt to the beach for a relaxing time away from stress and work.
They both stepped in the water, laughing and having a great time and it was amazing to see my mom laugh and have fun. We walked along the shoreline and took pictures on the rocks. We walked toward the end of the pier, took some pictures, and walked back to the car. It was a short trip but it was surely needed! Not once did she mention work in a negative matter during our time there!
