My precious nephew was born today! Ahh! He's so cute! He came a little early so he's a little baby; 5.12 lbs. He's adorable! Congratulations Mike & Lee! Here's another cutie I'll be photographing often! I didn't have my camera with me, so I took a picture with my camera! I'll be taking better pictures of him soon!

Carter, my baby brother!

Just last week, my little baby brother was born! My father decided to name him Carter Chanhnapa Vongphrachanh! Welcome to the world Carter! Here's a picture of him, he's adorable! It's a bad picture, but I haven't had the chance to actually photography him yet. Expect more to come!

Elliot, Graduation Pictures

My friend Elliot will be graduating from the Aveda Institute of Cosmetology next month and needed graduation pictures (kind of like senior pictures, but for graduating!) for his open house! Such a neat idea! On Thursday night, I met up with him at his school and we had a photoshoot right in the school! It was a great backdrop for pictures! Enjoy!

Keo + Carlos = Kalamazoo Wedding

This past weekend, I was able to photographed my cousin's beautiful wedding day! What a hot day! I didn't know what to expect because I've never seen any of the locations, but it was a great wedding! The day started with a traditional Laos ceremony, followed my an outdoor American wedding and reception! It was fun! My best friend Brandon helped me second shoot this wedding. Thank you so much Brandon! I truly appreciate your help! We will definitely do it again! We met two of Keo's good friends, Dimple and Olivia! They made the day so much fun! All in all, it was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding! Congratulations Keo & Carlos! I hope you two like the wedding pictures!

Soneya + Eric = Married

Earlier today, I had the previlege of photographing my beautiful aunt Soneya's wedding! This was actually my first wedding as the main photographer and I ran into a problem; creativity! There's just so much going on during a wedding, the family and friends all want pictures, there are the "must-have" photos, people are talking to you left and right, and there's just so much going on! Thank goodness for my dear friend Katie for helping me out and second shooting for me! Thank you Katie! I really appreciate it! I can't wait to see you post some of your images from the wedding! It was a gloomy morning and the ceremony was forced to be inside, but afterwards, the sky started clearing up and gave us the opportunity to photograph outside, with the beautiful scenery at Frederick Meijer Gardens! These are the few I like, enjoy!

Cartoon Clouds

SO MANY NEW POSTS! Ahh! I thought I was done, but my cousin just posted a new blog about new cloud formations that scientists have discovered! I SAW ONE!

About a month ago, I was driving home and I noticed the clouds were shaped very differently; something I've never seen before! I actually got out of my car to take a picture of it, but by the time I actually got out of the car... the cloud pretty much disappeared... but there was a little bit of it left!


I didn't know there was a name for it, but at the time (and still now), I called it the cartoon clouds! They look SO surreal! If anyone gets a chance, you will be so amazed when you actually get the chance to see one! I know I was! It's beautiful!

Elephant Ride Photoshoot

During the reunion weekend, I had the opportunity to take photos for TinTin V's (my cousin) CD cover for his new single "Elephant Ride." We just had fun with the session and my cousin Dara and I also got into a few shots! Enjoy!

Family Reunion

Thank goodness for graduation because it brought my lovely family together again! We take so much pride in our family. We all grew up together and it's so much fun when we all get together!
