GRCC Student Exhibition

I'm super excited! I've been waiting weeks to find out if any of my work I've submitted were accepted into the student photography exhibition at my college. Yesterday, the exhibition opened and BAM! I saw this image hanging on the left side of the gallery!

It's VERY bright and it looks better in a larger format, which is what it is in the gallery; 12x18 inches to be exact!

I was very happy that at least one of my submissions made it! I started walking around and admiring the work of my fellow photographers. I slowly make my way to the back of the exhibit and then...

TWO MORE OF MY IMAGES!

I was THRILLED! I couldn't believe that out of the entire photography program, TWO MORE of my images made the cut! That completely made my day! I was happy! I don't have images of those two because they're film images.

If any of you attend GRCC or get the chance, please visit the GRCC Collins Art Gallery on the 4th floor of the Main Building! The gallery hours are Monday – Thursday 10am – 2pm & 4pm – 8pm.

Thank you so much for everyone's support! Between my personal/music blog (the one you're reading) and my business' photography blog, I will try to post more! Have a great day everyone!

Congrats Alex!!!!! Sweet! I love that picture and I know you put a lot of work into it. The fact that you're learning film is pretty darn cool, too... what camera are you using for that?

Thank you Sandy! I'm just using a basic 35mm Canon Rebel. It does the job, haha.
